Tag Video How To- Scrapbooking Embellishments

Hello, doing a 'kind-of' follow up video in my tag series, which I haven't done for awhile, so here we go with some examples of tags made, mainly with paper, scissors, glue, stamps and dies,  I
Like to use my supplies, and make my own clusters, so added into the mix are some stickers from kits here and there and whatever I can create using my stamps & dies, papers, copic markers, stitching and whatever else I have in my stash.  It' s all just showing you my process of making embellishments for scrapbook pages, cards and various other paper crafting projects.   Thanks so much for stopping by. You can purchase my handmade embellishments on eBay under fritztrail29, or in my etsy shop at suzannebwebb.etsy.com.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Hello!  Made a quick Birthday tag using some Simon Says Stamp goodies!  I made two mats using the My Favorite Things stitched scallip dies, die cut and embossed a flowe and leaves from SSS Sketch Ranunculous stamp set, embossed with Ranger fine detail gold and colored in with copic markers.  I decided I needed a bit of texture, so I gathered and stitched a folded piece of black crepe paper, added a strip of gold striped washi tape and some Felicity Jane star sequins.  I finished the tag off by adding the sentiment and tiny heart border from SSS 'Sending & Wishing' stamp set, topped the tag with a crushed velvet ribbon!

MY Favorite Things Color Challenge

Well, this isn't the card I had started with, but I messed up the background and had to add more clouds to cover up, which isn't bad, just a bit more 'busy' than my original idea......for this card I used MFT stamp & die set, Fall Friends, and the dies for the landscape & fence Indint see a name for, I'm assuming they go along with the 'Barnyard Friends' set.  The clouds are from a lawn Fawn die set, the black sequin stars are Felicity Jane.  I used copic markers to color in the images.  The patterned paper I used for the hill is Maggie Holmes Bloom for Crate Paper.  Oh, and that little twiggy tree is a die from Altenew.
And, the inside,

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #321

Back again, twice in one day!!!  Here with the My Favorite Things sect has challenge #321.  I started out following the sketch exactly....but then my shaker window didn't have the right diecut.....it's still relatively close.... I used MFT's 'The Whole Herd' for this card, and I used a crafter's workshop chicken wire stencil for the background using Tim Holtz distress inks.  I colored in the cows and chickens using copic markers.  I used Papertrey Ink clear cardstock to back the shaker circle (the large one), the black cardstock is Bazzill, the white is Neenah.  I used Tim Holtz sponge distresses to spread the ink out.    I added fun foam to the back of the main panel, and diecut in the same holes to make the shaker component.  The sequins used are 28 Lilac Lane (I love these little tins, they are LOADED with sequins of different sizes and colors in the same family....the price point is great too!).  I even decorated the inside of the card, which I am obsessed with lately....a card isn't complete until I do this.....I used the chicken image again, along with the nest, and water colored a little grounding image below, using Kuretake watercolors.
This card was so fun to create using the My Favorite Things 'The Whole Herd' stamp & die set(especially since we live on a farm :). Thanks so much for stopping by, please subscribe and check out my YouTube channel!

Scrapbook Process Video Using Echo Park Lucky In Love

Hello, everyone, here today with another scrapbooking process video using Echo Park Lucky In Love scrapbook collection.  Love the text paperI used from this pack, for some reason, text papers are kind of hard for me to find, and I do love them!  For this layout I scrapbooker a photo of my husband and myself from our anniversary last December (36 years :), and a wine label I thought was too pretty to throw away, from the bottle of wine Stan got me for Valentine's Day.  I love the use of the gray woodgrain paper from Simple Stories behind the label.  I added a tiny bit of Felicity Jane paper from the February kit (the black Swiss dot).  The only other thing I forgot to add in the video was the use of some old Doodlebug number stickers for the date, and the fact that I used some fun foam to put behind the photo for added dimension.  The 'xoxo' die is from Lawn Fawn, and I can see myself using this die a lot, as our family uses this expression a lot in texts, etc.....

Here we go, please subscribe to my YouTube channel if you like (I'm working on getting better and a bit more interesting....still a little camera shy :)
Thanks so much for stopping by, will be back later with some card shares.

Papertrey Ink Celebrating The Past, 2010

Celebrating along with Papertrey Ink, using one of the stamp sets they have highlighted for their anniversary celebration, mYeat Of Flowers, Sweet Pea.'  For this card, I made a top folding card, added a piece of wisteria chicken scratch patterned paper to the side.  I adhered the die cut sweet pea flowers, which were colored with copic markers.  Before I adhered the flowers I stamped and embossed an image from the 'Shine' stamp set for a little added texture and interest.  The sentiment 'You've Been so sweet' is also from the stamp set, which I stamped with VersaMark ink and embossed with Ranger super fine embossing powder, mounted on some foam adhesive to get a bit of dimension.  I then added some Nuvo Crystal drops in sweet lilac.  I finished the inside of the card off with a 'a THANK YOU' sentiment from Altenew stamps, adhered to a piece of the same wisteria gingham chicken scratch paper.
It's been fun revisiting these stamp sets, thank you Papertrey Ink!

Papertrey Ink Celebrating The Past 2011

I had just pulled out my 'Tremendous Treats, Valentine' stamp & die set when PTI's post came out 'Celebrating 2011.'  One of the five stamp sets they were focusing on happened to be this set.  I had pulled out this Valentine set to make these cute little treat sacks using Lawn Fawn's treat bag, and the Tremendous Treats stamp & die set...
I die cut and put the sacks together using some fun Valentine patterned papers (I tho k they are Echo Park & Maggie Holmes).  I then die cut  four tags in Kraft, using Avery Elle Postage Stamp die set, and topped with the PTI tremendous treats dies, that I stamped and colored with copic markers.  I think the four little Grands will like these little bags as much as the candy & little treats I am to stuff  inside!😉
Another quick card using PTI's 'Simply Spring stamp and die set:

I love coloring these cute little bunnies soft shades of almost pink copic markers.  I did some sponging on the background with distress ink.

Scrapbooking Process Video Featuring Felicity Jane

Hello everyone, another video featuring Felicity Jane *(I think this is mainly the February kit).  Also, another snowy day here in Central Oregon, it has been snowing most of the day, just days after our roads because completely clear (still have mounds of snow that  was scraped :).

Back to the video, I used mostly all Felicity Jane papers and cut-a parts with the exception of stickers from a Crate Paper sheet by Maggie Holmes Bloom collection.  I must mention, I didn't realize these stickers were so thin...they were fine when placed flat on my paper, but it they were overlapped on layered paper, you could see the layers of papers underneath.  Had I known, I would have removed the sticker (the deer, in particular, and put foam underneath it, just a little FYI.  I used Distress Inks, Candied Apples & Fired Brick to ink the center of the 2x3 journaling card from the kit, which I stamped with the '1,2 3' stamp from Papertrey Ink Moments Inked   Posted stamp set.  I'm still not a fan of having to fussy cut the 'cut-apart' sheet, wish they were diecut stickers :(. I am really ready for some color changes as well, in this kit....I feel like we've had the same color palette for the last few months......sorry, don't mean to be a downer....I do love the kits, just a few observations on my part.  I HAVE loved every single stamp set!!!!

AT least this time I remembered to do a voice-over....geesh, I can't believe I forgot that last time!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you enjoyed the video!

Scrapbooking Layout Process With A BIG WOOPS

Hello all, here today to share a Scrapbooking layout process...which had several takes to edit, etc......when completed, I uploaded it to YouTube....only to think to myself, ' I don't remember doing a voice-over,' which I didnt'....my phone was out of memory at that point...so I just let it go......  I almost deleted it, then I thought, 'if someone can gain a teeny tip for their Scrapbooking skills, so be it....so here it is....I used so many old papers, along with the newer Felicity Jane supplies....and some Papertrey Ink stamps and dies......I really can't link to the old supplies....I CAN say, it is SO worth hanging on to your old papers (after all, everything comes back around, I've seen it in the Scrapbooking world 3X :).....I was able to marriage a ver new Felicity Jane kit...Jan. I believe (I tend to put them together..)...along with some very old papers , some old rubons (lily bee, does anyone remember that brand?) and some vintage bookplate, I love the result and how it all coordinates.  I also added some new Nuvo drops!  The flag banner at the top, I hand cut.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
