Papertrey Ink Celebrating The Past, 2010

Celebrating along with Papertrey Ink, using one of the stamp sets they have highlighted for their anniversary celebration, mYeat Of Flowers, Sweet Pea.'  For this card, I made a top folding card, added a piece of wisteria chicken scratch patterned paper to the side.  I adhered the die cut sweet pea flowers, which were colored with copic markers.  Before I adhered the flowers I stamped and embossed an image from the 'Shine' stamp set for a little added texture and interest.  The sentiment 'You've Been so sweet' is also from the stamp set, which I stamped with VersaMark ink and embossed with Ranger super fine embossing powder, mounted on some foam adhesive to get a bit of dimension.  I then added some Nuvo Crystal drops in sweet lilac.  I finished the inside of the card off with a 'a THANK YOU' sentiment from Altenew stamps, adhered to a piece of the same wisteria gingham chicken scratch paper.
It's been fun revisiting these stamp sets, thank you Papertrey Ink!

New Scrapbooking Process Video; Girl Cousins

Hello, here today with a new Scrapbooking process video, 'Girl Cousins.'  I used photos of my darling grandgirls for this, again :). These are pictures from the end of Easter Day, when the girls were tired, and playing on Capri's bed.  I have been seeing a lot of videos lately with people using white tissue paper as a photo mat, I wanted to try it, but instead of white, I used  pink and red tissue paper.  I have to say, it is an interesting texture addition.  After matting the photos on the tissue paper (a couple of layers), I matted them on Bazzill cardstock, then Pebbles, Inc. patterned paper, and then some chocolate cardstock.  I adhered thin strips of cardstock along each side of the matted photos.  On the right side, I used a cluster of Becky Higgins Project life cards (which I cut up), along with some of the same patterned paper cut in strips, some Paper Smooches word dies, and Papertrey Ink Rosie Posey Step 1 & 2 stamp and dies (stamped in dark chocolate, true black, and lovely lady with Hibiscus Burst.  The grid journaling card I stamped with stamps from PTI Monthly Moments, A Few Pointers.  Sprinkled the page with some American craft wood veneers, which I colored with a copic marker, RV17, along with some sequins.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Card Challenge - Birthday

Hello, here to share a card I made for Simon Says Wednesday card challenge.  This week's challenge was a Birthday theme, using Simon Says Stamp products.  For this card, I used the SSS stamps, 'Lila's Heart,' and 'Sending and Wishing' set, along with the coordinating dies.  For the background, I used a Becky Higgins Project Life 4x6 card, and trimmed it to fit over a  red card base.  I colored the little 'Lila' girl with my copic markers, and added some glossy accents to the balloons.

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #263

Hello, and welcome! I decided to play along with the My Favorite Things weekly sketch challenge.  I used the stamps and dies from the Birdie brown Sweet Birthday Wishes set.

I did some water citing on some watercolor paper, and added some drips.  After I cut out and stamped my image, I colored it in with copic markers.  I pop dotted the image on top of two tag banners from Papertrey Ink (stamped with one of the sentiments from the stamp set, added a few sequins, and layered the watercor panel over some PTI Lovely Lady cardstock.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

New My Favorite Things Card

Hi there!  This card was really fun to makeusing My Favorite Things, 'Let's Hang Out,' stamp and die set.  I colored in the sky with Tim Holtz distress ink , and the little girl and tree with copic markers, the grass was cut from a MFT die.  I popped the little girl up with pop dots and embossed the tire swing with white embossing powder.
This is my third card for the contest, I'll be back with two more.

Super hot here today, 95 degrees.  Letting the garden flourish a bit while it's hot and before it freezes, giving me a bit of a rest from freezing and canning....
