Scrapbooking On the Go

Just a quickie, featuring a very quick video I did on Scrapbooking on the go.  I do this often when I'm going out of town.  I know, for instance, that I will be up later ΓΈ than the family members I am traveling with.  In this instance, I went with my daughter to a class she was taking out of town for being a teaching reading specialist.....the location was way out by the airport....so I knew I'd have some down time in the hotel with not many resources around to travel to...So I was perfectly happy with my 'on the go' papercrafting stash I brought with me.  A quick view of my must have's when I travel:
I realize after reviewing the video, I said my  storage box was about 1/2" wide...it IS about 1/2" thick, and holds 12x12 papers comfortably.  It's just nice and compact, and I can slip it into my suitcase easily.  I didn't mention, but also pack a small shoulder bag (carry-on) with my Cuttlebug, stamps, inks and the tools I show in the video, I put in little zipped clear make up bags...all visible and easily accessible.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Altenew Sketch Challenge #1

I decided to participate in Altenew's first Sketch Chellenge they have up over on their blog:
Here is a copy of the sketch:

And here is a copy of a layout Ashley Horton created using the sketch:

Here is my take on the sketch:

I used Altenew Matjestic Bloom to accent the photo, and the background paper & cut aparts are part of Felicity Jane March Scrapbooking kit.  I also, sponged some Rose Quartz ink on the background to soften up page.  The black border under the photo is crepe paper that I stitched and gathered.  Finished off the layout with a few rhinestones sprinkled here and there.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
