Twelve Days Of Tags W/Tim Holtz
I did this a couple of years ago, and learned a lot of new techniques....so...I wanted to do it again. This first day really did introduce me to a lot of new techniques...no.1....using a toothpick to create spirals (hello....the bulk of my Etsy sells are spiral flowers....this makes the process so much easier!! TY Tim!!! Ok, I did not have his pinecone die-cut...I improvised using deco scissors, love how my pinecones turned out, but I am still getting his die! I used his wood grain embossing folder (the white is the embossing). Got to practice a bit with vintage lace and burlap for Ashley's wedding...Here's my take

I LOVE these colours! So warm, brings back to countryside. I like so many things about this tag - colours, textures, this woody background and shabby ribbon, ivory hue of pearls... One of my favourite tags for day 1!
