Creating Handmade Scrapbooking/Gift Embellishment Tags
Hello! The other day while searching for the perfect embellishment for a scrapbook page, rifling through my stash, I decided that I should share my love of tags, and created the many layers of tags/embellishments. As I mention in the video, I use this stash for a number of things, scrapbook page embellishments, tied onto gift sacks, or make them into a card. I often leave room for the right sentiment, so they will be totally versatile for future use. Before I go any further, I must apologize for my scruffy nails......I had been touching up the stain on the trim in our house all day (very unforgiving :). I also called the Friendship Jar stamp and die set by Papertrey Ink 'Jar Fillers,' whoops, another 'whoops,' I called my handmade spiral flowers 'spiral tags.' I get so focused on trying to finish in a timely manner....I mind my words....oh well, it's done now :)
Onto the video....I have still shots at the end, if you have any questions, please leave in the comments.

Scrapbooking Process Video 'You Are My Happy Place'
For this layout, I again, started by mating my photos. The main photo, I lightly matted on black cardstock, so I could tuckin the little 4x4" squares I cut from a Teresa Collins 12x12 pattern paper. I embellished the squares with some Heidi Swapp stamps, and arrow die cuts using dies from Carta Bella. The kind of shabby looking paper with some red script is very old Making Memories paper, which I stamped a stripe border from some Art Warehouse stamps. 'You are My Happy Place' is from a Papertrey Ink stamp set, Phrase Play #1. The two tags featured on this layout are also Papertrey ink dies, but I cannot find them on their website to give you the name. There are four different dies in the set, and they are just a great size, about 3"X 1". The stamping on the top tag is from Papertrey Ink's Button Boutique stamp set. The heart border is from W Plus 9, the chevron border stamp is Kaiser Craft. The background grid paper is also Teresa Collins, I added the background stamps (PTI, Polka Dot Basics, and Background Text Style II) just to create a little interest and contrast. Finished off the layout with a bit of twine on the second tag.

New Scrapbooking Process Video; Girl Cousins
Hello, here today with a new Scrapbooking process video, 'Girl Cousins.' I used photos of my darling grandgirls for this, again :). These are pictures from the end of Easter Day, when the girls were tired, and playing on Capri's bed. I have been seeing a lot of videos lately with people using white tissue paper as a photo mat, I wanted to try it, but instead of white, I used pink and red tissue paper. I have to say, it is an interesting texture addition. After matting the photos on the tissue paper (a couple of layers), I matted them on Bazzill cardstock, then Pebbles, Inc. patterned paper, and then some chocolate cardstock. I adhered thin strips of cardstock along each side of the matted photos. On the right side, I used a cluster of Becky Higgins Project life cards (which I cut up), along with some of the same patterned paper cut in strips, some Paper Smooches word dies, and Papertrey Ink Rosie Posey Step 1 & 2 stamp and dies (stamped in dark chocolate, true black, and lovely lady with Hibiscus Burst. The grid journaling card I stamped with stamps from PTI Monthly Moments, A Few Pointers. Sprinkled the page with some American craft wood veneers, which I colored with a copic marker, RV17, along with some sequins.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Card Challenge - Birthday
Hello, here to share a card I made for Simon Says Wednesday card challenge. This week's challenge was a Birthday theme, using Simon Says Stamp products. For this card, I used the SSS stamps, 'Lila's Heart,' and 'Sending and Wishing' set, along with the coordinating dies. For the background, I used a Becky Higgins Project Life 4x6 card, and trimmed it to fit over a red card base. I colored the little 'Lila' girl with my copic markers, and added some glossy accents to the balloons.

'So Perfect' Easter Scrapbook Process Video and Layout
Hello!!! Happy to be back writing on blog, after two weeks without water (our well went dyry:(....we finally have water, a new well and a new pump :)! It's easier to do everything with water!!!
I have a new scrapbook page layout, an Easter page, featuring the grands, Evelyn and Caprice. The pp I used is Amy Tangerine - Plus One, some Becky Higgins project life cards, PTI stamps with some Copic coloring (the jar and tulips). The little script block at the bottom of the page is a wood mounted stamp (rare for me), but I just had to have it, because I loved the words and fonts! The two little phrase stickers at the top are from a stickers sheet by Simple Stories, 'Sweet Bliss.' The letter stickers are older Making Memories stickers I've had in my stash for quite some time. Added a bit of washi tape to finish it off.

Papertrey Ink Farm Scene Shaker Card
Hi everyone!!! I have a fun, fun shaker card to share with you today. I used mostly all Papertrey Ink products with some other products sprinkled in here and there. For the life of me, I can't remember who made the background paper, it is a turquoise woodgrain with a grid on the backside. The stamps and dies I used for the main card front are Papertrey Ink; Petite Places, Barnyard, the dies used are from the same set, along with Scen It Backgrounds, Mountains and Shaker Shapes. The sequins I used for the inside are from Hazel & Ruby, and some chunky glass glitter I made from broken Christmas ornaments. The clear panel is also Papertrey Ink, clear Cardstock (I know you can also use packaging materials and other things, I like the weight of this paper). I used fun foam to add the dimension for the shaker portion. The inside of the card is stamped with a sentiment from Barnyard Sentiments (they're all super cute). Here is a vide I made showing the process (please pardon the background noises, the out of frame shots, etc., I have not made a video in a while, so I'm just getting back in the swing of things). Hope to have a lot more to share with you real soon :)

Papertrey Ink, Papertrey Ink, Create Along With Us, Cards, Cardmaking, Lawn Fawn
Hello, after a fogged -in, dark morning, we are now experiencing our first 'Spring-like' day!
Today I'm sharing a card I created to play along with Papertrey Ink's 'Create Along With Us ' challenge.
For this challenge, I chose this bright and sunny card created by Kay Miller ( I love ALL her creations) as my inspiration piece:
I loved the color combination and confetti background. Although I didn't have the same background stamp as Kay did, I made up my version with what I had, I used Polka Dot Basics, Star Gazer and Good Times (all PTI) to create my background (and I also added stars :). The balloons are from Birthday Style, 'Celebrate' die, which I layered four times is also from Good Times. Ink used is Hibiscus Burst and Bright Buttercup. Other products: sequins and oval dies, from Lawn Fawn.
